The new KYB Suspension Solutions mobile App which was released late November has already hit over one thousand downloads.
Technicians in 28 European countries are now using the App and the feedback ratings are already averaging over 4.5 (out of 5), which is an excellent score for such a new release. The statistics show that the text messages which the App sends to customers are opened within an average of 2 minutes, with over two hundred customers using the link to contact the garage directly. The highest number of downloads so far is in the UK and the geographical area with the most users is London.
According to a recent report by European vehicle inspection company Dekra, “approximately 75% of interviewed clients have never had contact [from a workshop] via e-mail or internet”. The free to use app from KYB allows garages to step out from the crowd and use modern technology to educate their customers about suspension, using pictures and videos much the same as many European main dealers do.
KYB Europe Marketing Manager, Jordan Day, comments “I am delighted with the early success of this project and am confident that our new mobile App will become an essential support to our garage customers, helping them raise their profile with their customers and increase their sales”.
The App is designed specifically for technicians and can be easily customised by each garage using it. It gives them the ability to send a customised text message to the motorist, explaining the suspension issues identified. They can also send a before and after photo of the work completed. The App is available to download for free from the App store and Google Play. To find out more information and see links to download it, visit app.kyb-europe.com.
