The\nKYB Suspension Solutions mobile App continues strong growth in popularity among\nEuropean workshops, having now been downloaded over 10,000 times. Spain has the\nmost users with 21%, followed by the UK with 19% and Italy with 10%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nApp has three main features to help technicians find and fit suspension\ncomponents and to explain, communicate and sell suspension to the motorist. The\nfirst allows technicians to suggest suspension work to a motorist. After\nassessing the vehicle the technician inputs the \u201csymptoms\u201d the vehicle is\nshowing into the App, attaching a picture if required. The App then takes this\ninformation and creates a specific vehicle report, which is text to the\ncustomer, all for free. This report contains a button to \u201ccall the workshop\u201d-\non average this button is clicked by the motorist 1 in 4 times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nsecond feature allows the technician to take \u2018before and after\u2019 photos when\nworking on a vehicle\u2019s suspension. The App sends these pictures along with a\nvehicle to the customer. The report explains the completed work and the benefit\nit will have on the vehicle and shows them the pictures of the old and newly\nfitted components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nfinal feature provides detailed, part specific technical advice for a\nsuspension job. Technicians can either enter the car make and model, the VIN\nnumber, or the registration number and they will be shown the KYB part numbers\nrequired and a detailed technical bulletin which includes an illustrated set by\nstep guide to fit the part, as well as the tools required (and relevant torque\nsettings), and an estimate for the time needed to complete the job.
