Dess uppgift g\u00e5r ut p\u00e5 att stabilisera fordonet och f\u00f6rhindra sladd genom att applicera ett specifikt bromstryck p\u00e5 ett eller flera hjul efter behov.<\/p>\n<p>En serie ESC-sensorer f\u00f6rser fordonets omborddatorer med fordonsdriftsf\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden. N\u00e4r datorn fastst\u00e4ller att fordonet tappar kontrollen och har en f\u00f6r l\u00e5ng lutning, eller n\u00e4r d\u00e4cken b\u00f6rjar tappa greppet d\u00e5 b\u00f6rjar den omedelbart minska motorvarvtalet genom motorstyrningssystemet och till\u00e4mpar sedan l\u00e4mplig individuell broms i precis r\u00e4tt proportioner f\u00f6r att h\u00e5lla fordonet under kontroll.<\/p>\n<p>ESC har funnits p\u00e5 marknaden sedan \u00e5r 1995 och \u00e4r sedan 2014 obligatoriskt p\u00e5 samtliga nya fordon som s\u00e4ljs inom EU. Ungef\u00e4r 80-90 % av bilar som k\u00f6r p\u00e5 Europas v\u00e4gar \u00e4r nu utrustade med ESC-teknik.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2000-talets s\u00e4kerhetsb\u00e4lte<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De flesta olyckor som inneb\u00e4r att man f\u00f6rlorar kontrollen \u00f6ver fordonet intr\u00e4ffar n\u00e4r fordonet k\u00f6rs \u00f6ver dess dragkraftsgr\u00e4nser som vid \u00f6verstyrning eller understyrning eller n\u00e4r man k\u00f6r f\u00f6r fort i f\u00f6rh\u00e5llande till f\u00f6rh\u00e5llandena. Studier visar att ESC kan minska halkolyckor med d\u00f6dlig utg\u00e5ng med upp till 38 %.<\/p>\n<p>Flera studier har visat att ESC \u00e4r mycket effektivt f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rhindra kontrollf\u00f6rlust och d\u00f6dsolyckor. Det uppskattas att sedan ESC introducerades har minst 188 500 olyckor med personskador undvikits i Europa och mer \u00e4n 6 100 liv r\u00e4ddats. Fordon med ESC minskar risken f\u00f6r d\u00f6dlig kontrollf\u00f6rlust med h\u00e4lften och minskar risk f\u00f6r v\u00e4ltning med upp till 80 %. ESC har beskrivits som det viktigaste framsteget inom s\u00e4kerhet av fordonsexperter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hur f\u00f6rh\u00e5ller sig ESC till fj\u00e4dring?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Effektiviteten hos ESC begr\u00e4nsas av d\u00e4ckens f\u00f6rm\u00e5ga och fordonets fj\u00e4dring. Om d\u00e4cken inte kan greppa v\u00e4gen kan ESC inte utf\u00f6ra de korrigerande \u00e5tg\u00e4rder som kr\u00e4vs.<\/li>\n<li>Reservdelar (som st\u00f6td\u00e4mpare) m\u00e5ste \u00e5terst\u00e4lla bilens hanteringsf\u00f6rm\u00e5ga till samma niv\u00e5 som n\u00e4r den var helt ny. Vissa eftermarknadsdelar (s\u00e4rskilt l\u00e5gkostnadsdelar \/ l\u00e5gkvalitativa delar) \u00e4r inte lika kapabla till att vara originalutrustning. Dessa delar kommer att p\u00e5verka prestandan f\u00f6r ESC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ESC-utrustade fordon som samtliga fordon, kr\u00e4ver periodiskt byte av bromsbel\u00e4gg, st\u00f6td\u00e4mpare och spiralfj\u00e4drar, d\u00e4ck och andra slitbara delar. Var noga med att v\u00e4lja reservdelar som \u00e4r designade f\u00f6r att \u00e5terst\u00e4lla fordonens ursprungliga hanterings- och kontrollkapacitet. Att \u00e5terst\u00e4lla originalhantering och kontroll \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r<br \/>\nESC-prestandan. \u00c4ven med ESC \u00e4r stopp och sv\u00e4ng fortfarande beroende av ett bra d\u00e4ckgrepp. Bra d\u00e4ckgrepp f\u00f6rlitar sig p\u00e5 v\u00e4lfungerande st\u00f6td\u00e4mpare och fj\u00e4drar som h\u00e5ller d\u00e4cket stadigt intryckt i v\u00e4gen. Det \u00e4r viktigt att komma ih\u00e5g att en bils ESC kalibrerades n\u00e4r bilen var helt ny vilket g\u00f6r att n\u00e4rvaron av slitna eller l\u00e5gkvalitativa st\u00f6td\u00e4mpare, bromsar eller d\u00e4ck kommer att inneb\u00e4ra att ESC kanske inte har r\u00e4tt verktyg f\u00f6r att utf\u00f6ra sitt s\u00e4kerhetskritiska jobb p\u00e5 ett korrekt s\u00e4tt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Varf\u00f6r ska man v\u00e4lja KYB-st\u00f6td\u00e4mpare f\u00f6r ESC-fordon?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Samtliga OE-leverant\u00f6rer som KYB \u00e4r \u00f6verens om att slitna st\u00f6td\u00e4mpare f\u00f6rlorar sin effektivitet efter 80 000 kilometer (50 000 miles). Detta beror p\u00e5 den gradvisa utmattningen av ventilerna inuti st\u00f6td\u00e4mparen. Det \u00e4r en mycket subtil minskning av prestanda som \u00e4r ofta s\u00e5 subtil att den inte m\u00e4rks av f\u00f6raren. Detta \u00e4r anledningen till att teknikerr\u00e5dgivning \u00e4r mycket viktig n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller att h\u00e5lla ett fordon som fungerar p\u00e5 s\u00e4kraste s\u00e4tt d\u00e4r bromsar, d\u00e4ck och fj\u00e4dring \u00e4r underh\u00e5llna.<\/p>\n<p>Eftermarknadsd\u00e4mpare av l\u00e5g kvalitet \u00e4r ofta konstruerade och presterar annorlunda \u00e4n OE-st\u00f6td\u00e4mpare. Borttagning av saker som interna fj\u00e4drar, minskad materialkvalitet och minskad kvalitet p\u00e5 hydraulv\u00e4tska betyder att enheten inte kommer att fungera p\u00e5 det s\u00e4tt som ESC vill att den ska g\u00f6ra. Detta g\u00f6r att alla ber\u00e4knade \u00e5tg\u00e4rder blir felaktiga. KYB-st\u00f6td\u00e4mpare \u00e4r kalibrerade speciellt f\u00f6r eftermarknaden. De \u00e5terst\u00e4ller ursprungligt designade ESC-funktioner inte bara genom att \u00e5terst\u00e4lla prestanda hos st\u00f6td\u00e4mparenheten. Ventilerna inuti \u00e4r anpassade specifikt f\u00f6r att till\u00e5ta slitage p\u00e5 omgivande monteringar och bussningar, vilket s\u00e4kerst\u00e4ller att hela fj\u00e4dringssystemet fungerar tillsammans f\u00f6r att ge en k\u00e4nsla av att k\u00f6ra en ny bil. Det \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r att \u00e5terst\u00e4lla bilen till s\u00e4ttet som ESC beh\u00f6ver f\u00f6r att den ska fungera.
